Here are just some of our favourites: Victoria Park - One of the largest and most popular parks in Nottingham with 2 miles worth of woodland walks, meadows and wildflower gardens. Transport around the city of Nottingham If you are in Nottingham, here is some information about the different choices of transport that are available to you. There are buses and taxis, but also trains and trams if you prefer a slower pace. The bus service has many routes for both short journeys or long distance trips, whilst taxi drivers can take people anywhere in the city within 15 minutes. It was originally built in 1067 by William the Conqueror, and it served as a keystone throughout English history from then on out-withstanding numerous battles with invaders such as Louis XIV.
